Cyclocross Worlds Preview With Jeremy Powers!
Thursday, January 29, 2009  7:49:25 AM PT
Jered and I are buddies, but every January there are cross words between us. I usually say that Sven Nys won't win the Worlds; Jered always says he will! This year I decided to get an independent view and enlisted the help of a man who will be lining up with the aforementioned 'cross legend on the long starting straight at Hoogerheide in Holland for Sunday's World Cyclocross championship - Jeremy Powers!

TDU'09 St.6: Chicchi Takes The Day, Davis Supreme!
Sunday, January 25, 2009  7:32:31 AM PT
With a 25 second advantage, Allan Davis’ position as race leader was not expected to be challenged today. Nevertheless we were in for some thrilling racing on the spectator-friendly street circuit in the heart of Adelaide. PEZ was once again on the scene and there to bring you all the action!

TDU'09 St.5: Davis Rules Unquestioned!
Saturday, January 24, 2009  5:19:52 AM PT
Saturday's fifth round of fighting was always going to be the decisive stage - the only question was: how selective would it be? Word on the street is they are tough, but not hard enough to ensure a select group will make it to the finish before the peloton. Word on the street was correct: Allan Davis took his third stage and the overall is his!

TDU'09 St.4: It's Albie Again In Angaston!
Friday, January 23, 2009  7:58:02 AM PT
After yesterday’s tough stage, the racers were looking forward to a more laidback ride as they ventured into the Barossa Valley. An early break plowed the leading furrow, but once again, it was not meant to be. The sprinters' teams amassed and another bunch sprint was had. Allan Davis was first across the line ahead of yesterday's winner, Graeme Brown.

TDU'09 St.3: Winds Wreak Havoc, Brownie Prevails!
Thursday, January 22, 2009  7:07:40 AM PT
Stage 3 of the Tour Down Under proved to be a very exciting day of racing thanks to the challenging climatic conditions. Unlike the last few days where the temperature has been the key, the buffeting winds along the Fleurieu Peninsula dictated today’s action. By the end only 47 riders were left, and it was Graeme Brown who trumped ochred Allan Davis and Stuey O'Grady for the win.

TDU'09 St.2: Allan Davis Quickest In Stirling!
Wednesday, January 21, 2009  5:18:01 AM PT
The second stage of the Tour Down Under promised to be the first selective stage of the race. The undulating road from Hahndorf to Stirling coupled with a tough finishing circuit was supposed to cause the first culling of the favorites, but once again the sprinters surprised and a bunch kick was the order of the day.

TDU'09 Cancer Classic: Robbie Is Back (Lance Too)!
Monday, January 19, 2009  10:48:45 AM PT
Sunday's Tour Down Under 'Prologue,' the Cancer Classic Criterium, was held over 30 laps of the 1.7km Rymill Park course in the city of Adelaide. As Adelaide continues to suffer Lance-mania, 140,000 people crammed onto the circuit to see if the great man still had it. He rode just fine, but the real story was at the pointy end of the race, and the man across the finish line first was none other than Katyusha's Robbie McEwen.

TDU'09 Preview: More Selective For 2009!
Saturday, January 17, 2009  10:16:56 AM PT
Next Tuesday the first ProTour event of the year begins the 2009 season at the Tour Down Under in Adelaide, Australia. In addition to marking Lance’s return to racing, the route has had a shake up becoming considerably more selective. PEZ have put in the hard yards to analyse the stages and come to the conclusion that you win need your climbing legs to win on this year’s edition.
