Roglic Saves Romandie Lead – Bernal Comes Close

PeloPics: Egan Bernal (Sky) put in a strong ride in the Tour de Romandie stage 3 9.9 kilometer mountain time trial. Primoz Roglic (LottoNL-Jumbo) finished second and held his overall lead by 6 seconds over the Colombian.

Roglic finished just 4 seconds behind Bernal to protect his lead as Richie Porte (BMC) took 3rd at 18 seconds to move into 3rd overall at 27 seconds. Steven Kruijswijk (LottoNL-Jumbo) also returned a good time against the watch for 4th and 4th overall at 1:02. Rui Costa (UAE Team Emirates), Pierre Latour (AG2R-La Mondiale), Rohan Dennis (BMC) and Daniel Martin (UAE Team Emirates) all lost over a minute and Geraint Thomas (Sky) more than two and a half minutes.
