Armstrong Abandons In Bochum

The American Lance Armstrong (US Postal), winner of the last four Tours de France, yesterday abandoned the Tour of Bochum in Germany. In very heavy rain the Belgian rider Frederic Amorison of Lotto was judged the winner from the Dane Jorgen Bo Peterson (EDS Fakta) in second place and Jan Koerts (Domo) of Holland third.
Amorison follows in the footsteps of the Italian Gianluca Bortolami (Tacconi Sport) who won last years race.
