Bartoli: Broken Pelvis

Michele Bartoli of Fassa-Bortolo suffered a broken pelvis in a spectacuar crash near the finish of today’s Giro stage 1 into Munster Germany.

His team boss – Giancarlo Ferretti wants send Bartoli to Italy tomorrow, if it will be possible, but he’ll require a special flight to travlel with his injuries.
