Bike Talk Radio: Join Us Sunday!
Tune in this January 16th at 830PM EST (530PM PST) as we continue our dialogue on training. This time we discuss specific programs to get you on the road to a great 2011 season. Dr. Stephen Cheung (PezCycling News), Hunter Allen (Peaks Coaching Group) and Don Sutherland (former Canadian National Coach) are our returning guests.
Listeners are encouraged to call in at any time during the show with any training related questions. As always we will include three cycling trivia questions for your enjoyment.
Although training may be reduced to the dark confines of our cellars, January is halfway over and warmer weather and the road season will be upon us before we know it. The winter is also the best time to assess your fitness and make systematic plans to improve your cycling performance for the upcoming season.
Continuing on our focus on fitness and training, our Toolbox Editor Dr. Stephen Cheung will be taking to the Bike Talk Radio airwaves (https://www.blogtalkradio.com/biketalkradio) this Sunday, from 8:30 – 9:30 pm Eastern Standard Time to talk about the things we should be considering working on over the winter. Topics we’ll touch on include the mix of intensity versus building an aerobic base, figuring out strengths and limiters, and ways to beat trainer boredom. He’ll be joined by famed cycling coach Hunter Allen of Peaks Coaching Group, power training guru and co-author of their upcoming book “Cutting Edge Cycling.”
Listeners are invited to call in at any time during the show: 917-889-2569
