Bortolami Wins GP Bruno Beghelli

Tacconi’s Gianlucca Bortolami won the 6th Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli Sunday, a 200km test and one of the last races for the Italians preparing for the World Championships.

Bortolami won from an escape of 9 men which contained 3 men from Mapei: Trampusch, Scinto and
Nardello. But they didn’t control the final of the race. Scinto tried to go away in 2 times. And in the latest one Bortolami caught him and sprinted again in a very long
sprint. Nardello tried to steal the victory from him, but he arrived 2nd. 3rd place for Nicki Sorensen.
