French Shorts: David Moncoutie Kicks It At The Grand Prix De Lugano

David Moncoutie from Team Cofidis imposed his law winning the Grand Prix de Lugano in style.

Prior to the Tour de Med where he took the Mont Faron stage in a decisive manner, Bernard Quilfen’s rider was putting in at least 20 hours in the saddle, averaging 650 km/week. Though he wasn’t satisfied with his power on the flats, David claims training in the Toulouse (FRA) region helped him built a tremendous base in the hills. The once phlegmatic rider is proving his worth by beating Kolobnev and Gryschenko today.
