What's Cool In Road Cycling

Culotte Francais!!

Tour Take-over

Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), organisers of the Tour de France, and nearly every other race in the world, has now taken over the Classic Haribo. This race, which takes place in the South of France, was last won by Jan Kirsipuu, now joines a long list of ASO races, Paris-Nice being the other new acquisition.

Jean-Patrick to Jean Delatour

Top French sprinter Jean-Patrick Nazon, brother of Damien, has joined the Jean Delatour team on a 2 year contract. With fdjeux.com, Jean-Patrick won a stage in the Criterium International & the 4 Days of Dunkerque. The 25 year old is looking forward to working for manager Michael Gros as things between him and his old manager, Marc Madiot, have not been good after he did’nt ride the last Tour de France.

Big French Team For Next Year?

Small team becomes big team! With all the problems the Pro peleton is in, no money, no teams etc. The small team of Saint-Quentin has expanded with now 14 riders. They are:- Barthe, Gabriel, Koehler, Krushevskiy, Lembo, Rinero, Templier, Balciunas, Gabrovski, Hunt, Pencolй, Perque, Sweet & Le Boulanger. The full name of the team is MBK-Oktos-Saint-Quentin, and there first race of the season will be the Tour of Qatar.

Well, thats all I could find going on in France! Maybe the biggest race on the planet is’nt enough to make you interesting, some good riders may help?
