PANARIA’S BROWN = “HUGE” SPRINTER
Yesterday Maurizio Fondriest talked with Bruno Reverberi, team manager of Panaria-Fiordo
about Graeme Brown, the young Australian sprinter.
He was happy to hear that he isn’t the only one who thinks Brown is “fat”. He told Fondriest that when he arrived in Italy his fat percentage was 19%, really high. But now it’s down to about 17%. The average pro rider has around 4-5% or at max 6% body fat. So Reverberi is trying to teach him to lose weight!

MOREAU TO CHALLENGE ARMSTRONG?
Benoit Joachim yesterday was at the finish of the 3rd stage, as a guest of Italian TV. At the question “who will be the possible opponent of Armstrong?” he replied “I cycled some days ago with Christophe Moreau. I saw him very well, and he won a time trial some days
ago.”
