What's Cool In Road Cycling

Merry Christmas From PCN!

Merry Christmas From All Of Us At PCN!

Dear PCN Readers,

This world is an interesting place, that’s for sure. No matter how much you plan, train, and visualize your future, you never really know how you’re going to do, how it’s going to happen, or where you are going to end up.

If someone had told me a year ago that I’d be writing a Christmas message to the readers of a cycling news website that I was about to start, I would have laughed out loud. If someone had told me that in a few short months I’d be arranging press credentials to send our own guys to races like the Vuelta, The Worlds, and the Classics, I’d have looked the other way. Ditto if they’d said I’d be arranging interviews with top riders, product tests, and more. But mostly I would have not believed that I’d be managing the efforts of a group of talented, dedicated and very diverse cycling fans (mostly fanatics) who like me, want to write and report on cycling.

Without these guys, there would be no PCN, so to Michele Tomasi, Alastair Hamilton, Charles Manantan, Daimeon Shanks, Gregg Germer, Gordan Cameron, Eric Van Bockern, Stephen Cheung, Bruce Hendler, Jan Didier, Robert MacNeil, Duncan Steele, Robert Van Willigenburg, Mark Pooley – and everyone else who has contributed over the past few months – I say a huge Thank You, it’s a pleasure working with all of you guys, and I’m really looking forward to 2003 and our second year – we’ve got some big things planned!

And to all our readers, I speak for us all when I say thank you for tuning in, reading, clicking, and sharing your own opinions and thoughts with us. The biggest reward we get is knowing that there are people out there who actually like reading our site!

We wish you all a safe and happy holiday season!
