MTB Rider Wins Road Race!

Mountain biker wins road race.

Barrie Clarke, well known mountain biker and cyclo cross rider, riding for a Great Britain team, he usually rides for Helly Hansen/Giant, won the recent Ruban Granitier stage race in Brittany in Northern France. The race is 6 stages plus a prologue and is a 2.6 UCI event and is hotly contested by National, regional & big sponsored club teams, like Rabobank, Vendee U etc. Stage 6 was from St. James to Dinan (151 kms), Barrie attacked on the climb of the finishing circuit and won by 11 seconds to move up to 7 th overall.
