Osa Takes Pais Vasco Lead

Aitor Osa (ibanesto) is the new leader of the Vuelta ciclista al Pais Vasco, by winning this the third stage of 170 kilometres from Vitoria to Altsasu.

The rider from Guipuzcoa out sprinted Bingen Fernandes of Cofidis who is now second overall. The bunch trailed in 3 mins 48 secs after the two leaders.

Tomorrows stage is in 2 parts, the first is from Altsasu to Billabona, 154 kilometres with 2 climbs of 800 meters in the first 50 kms, followed by 3 smaller hills into the finish. Part 2, 94 kilometres, has a profile like a crocodiles mouth, with 6 ЁAltosЁ to cross between Billabona & Elgoibar.
