Osa Wins Stage 2
Aitor Osa, the winner of the Vuelta Pais Vasco, carried on his good form to take to-days stage of the tour of Rioja, 222 kilometres in 5 hours 41 minutes 45 seconds, but did not do enough to shift Carlos Torrent (Jazztel) from the leaders jersey, six of the nine riders from yesterdays break away are still holding a 9 minute lead on the rest.

Michael Barry (USP) of Canada, moved up to 29th. overall and is best placed N.
