Pellizotti Peaceful About Future

Pellizzotti News
The 25 year old Italian talks about his last season and about his future: “At my first time at Giro d’Italia it didn’t go as I had hoped. I arrived near the victory many times: at the 5th stage on Campitello Matese, at the 11th stage, where I arrived 3rd. I didn’t get the win that I was looking for but I learned very much: especially how to run in the race. But I will use this experience for the next year, but without pressure. I won’t start for sure with the idea to win next Giro: there will be many chances for it. I’m still building myself and I don’t think it’s right to think of only one kind of race. The victory at Giro del Friuli gave me the security to fight for the one day races, that’s why I will run the Liegi, which is perhaps the best World Cup race for me.”.

And talking about the national team and World Championship in Canada – “Azzurro is the dream of everybody, 2 years ago I’ve was close to joining the national team. I want to show that I’m a rider ready for every kind of track. Of course I’m especially a climber and I know that there aren’t many climbers of my age in Italy. It makes me secure about the my contract with Alessio for 2 more years, I know that when I’m ready, Cenghialta will make the team work for me”.
