PEZ-Crew Invades Belgium!
This is no April Fool’s gag – ! As you read this, I’m about to board a flight to Brussels, to spend the next 12 days at the northern Classics. With any luck we’ll PEZ you into the Tour of Flanders, Ghent-Wevelgem, and Paris Roubaix…
How tough are these races? We’ll call it first-hand as we pre-ride the routes, get cobble-side seats for the races, and hook up with a team or two. Call it the best job in the world or call it a vacation, keep your eyes peeled to PezCycling News for the Classics coverage you just can’t find anywhere else!
I’ll be joined by Randall Butler, and plan to meet (for the first time anywhere -! ) PEZ-Crew members Eugeen Peelman – our illustrious photgrapher for all the Belgian races, the original Homeboy – Gregg Germer who starts his 3rd season in Europe this weekend, and Robert Willems, our Benelux Frites newsman.
And don’t worry, we’ll keep a sharp eye out for Belgian Distractions, that famous Belgian beer we’ve been told about by Matt Hayman and Bert Roesems, and some of the most fabled riding on earth. They don’t call ’em “Classics” for nothing, and we solemnly pledge to bring you coverage that is “Classic” PEZ.
Look for our first report on Saturday, as we join thousands of Belgians for the amateur ride of the Tour of Flanders route.
See you from Belgium –
