Vandenbroucke was given a sobriety test and it was revealed that his blood alcohol level was 1.7 p/ml. The legal limit in Belgium is 0.5 p/ml. The prosecutor in Bruxelles has suspended his driving license for an indefinite period and his sporting license for a period of 15 days.
