Tour of Germany: Stage for Auge, Igor Still Overall.

Igor Gonzаlez de Galdeano (ONCE) conserved his lead to-day in Tour of Germany on this the sixth stage from Friedrichshafen to Obersdorf a distance of 191 kilometres, won by the Frenchman Stephane Auge (Jean Delatour).

Auge went away in the 36th. kilometre with seven others, there winning margin at the end was 11 minutes 18 seconds, were Auge beat Engoulvent (Bonjour) and Bortalami (Tacconi Sport) into second and third respectively. When the main bunch came in O’Grady managed to beat Zabel for ninth and Gonzаlez de Galdeano a safe 13th.,he still has 17 seconds over Garmendia (COAST) and 37 on Steinhauser (Gerolsteiner).

The tour finishes tomorrow with a 172.2 kilometre stage from Biberach to Stuttgart.
