A bunch of champions for the Italian races

Three months after the last competition in Italy (national championship), Team LAMPRE-MERIDA is going to race again in its Country taking part in the Trittico Lombardo.

The blue-fuchsia-green team will be at the start of Coppa Bernocchi (16 September), Coppa Agostoni (17 September) and Tre Valli Varesine (18 September) with the aim of extend the very good series of results that were obtained in the recent past in these three races: in 2013, Pozzato won the Coppa Agostoni and Durasek won the Tre Valli Varesine.

Sport director Daniele Righi will count on many top riders, such as Rui Costa, who’ll be at the start of Coppa Agostoni, as Sacha Modolo (2 Coppa Bernocchi and 1 Coppa Agostoni in his victories list), as Filippo Pozzato, as Kristijan Durasek and as Diego Ulissi.

These are the selected riders for LAMPRE-MERIDA for each race:

Coppa Bernocchi (16 September): Niccolò Bonifazio, Davide Cimolai, Sacha Modolo, Andrea Palini, Filippo Pozzato, Diego Ulissi, Luca Wackermann and the trainee Andrea Vaccher.

Coppa Agostoni (17 September): Niccolò Bonifazio, Mattia Cattaneo, Davide Cimolai, Luca Dodi, Rui Costa, Sacha Modolo, Andrea Palini, Diego Ulissi.

Tre Valli Varesine (18 September): Luca Dodi, Kristijan Durasek, Andrea Palini, Jan Polanc, Filippo Pozzato, Diego Ulissi, Luca Wackermann and the trainee Ilia Koshevoy.
