A Successful Start: Ponzi, Finetto, Rabottini Star in Donoratico

A success in the house for Neri Sottoli #YellowFluo with a wonderful end plain: Ponzi wins alone, 2nd Finetto. Rabottini 4th, Andriato 7th. Race dominated by #yellowfluo boys.

#consacration. With this hashtag Simone Ponzi opened his season during the official presentation on friday. Today, a strong success in the house of the Main Sponsor and the global project #MadeInTuscany, with Mauro Finetto second thanks to his final sprint. 4th Matteo Rabottini, 7th Rafael Andriato. An opening season perfect for the cycling project #yellowfluo rebuilt.

“I’m really happy for this result – Ponzi admitted after the finish line, with his girlfriend near – bacause this team trust in me and Luca Scinto is what I needed to restart with my leader career. For this I need to tell thanks to all the persons of this team, from the Main Sponsor to all the others”.

Satisfaction for all the team, in particular for the final part in which Finetto, Rabottini, Ponzi with Sinkewitz (Meridiana) and Formolo (Cannondale), arrived at the last three chilometers with 12” of advantage after their attack in the last lap on Segalari mountain. Then Ponzi took the front and Mauro Finetto was able to win the final sprint. Big satisfaction for all the staff Neri Sottoli #YellowFluo, from the main sponsor Giuliano Baronti (in the photo) to the team manager Angelo Citracca: “We have won in Tuscany, in front of our fans and our Main Sponsor. We can’t ask more than this. #MadeInTuscany project started as well as possible”. The podium is completed from the 3rd place of Pasqualon (Area Zero d’Amico), but the classification registered also the 4th place of Matteo Rabottini and the 7th of Rafael Andriato. An En plain Neri Sottoli #YellowFluo, that clarify the goals of the team.
