AG2R-La Mondiale to GP d’Isbergues
The French AG2R-La Mondiale team will line up at the Grand Prix d’Isbergues on Sunday the September 17th.
AG2R-La Mondiale DS Stéphane Goubert commented: “We are expecting to a hectic race. Though I don’t know the list of who’s racing, we are going to be putting our money on Rudy Barbier in the sprint.
However, it will be important to be attentive to the flow of the race and not to be caught out. Depending on how the weather is, echelons could form. I have seen the sprint finish at Isbergues where there aren’t that many riders left in the peloton.
After his crash at the Grand Prix de Wallonie, we hope that Nans Peters will be healthy and feeling fit. He has shown some good form recently.
And Julien Duval will be coming back to racing just a week after he finished the Vuelta, which was his first Grand Tour, so I don’t know how well he has recovered, but he could well surprise everyone.”
