Iconic Italian brand joins Colavita in tackling a new exciting challenge in women’s racing cycling. Sempre Pro is the official team’s bike.

Bianchi announces a new sponsorship agreement with Colavita/Bianchi Women’s Cycling Team, joining another historical Italian brand – Colavita – in an exciting new project to develop women’s racing and performance bicycles. The two Italian partners, united by their love for bicycles and healthy lifestyle, combine their strengths to tackle a new women’s cycling challenge in the US. The team will be riding a full Celeste Sempre Pro frameset.

“It’s a perfect partnership for Bianchi and Colavita as both brands are for people who share a passion for Italian culture, travel, a healthy lifestyle, and women’s cycling” VIP Sales and Marketing at Bianchi USA, Jim Stevenson, commented.

“I’m very excited about our 2015 roster. Each rider brings something special to our team. You can expect to see these extremely talented athletes leverage and benefit from our collective experience, seasoned leadership and youth. We plan to accomplish team goals through a combination of unselfish teamwork, tactical excellence, hard work, persistence and a touch of creativity” team manager Mary Zider explained.

Team Colavita-Bianchi consists of American Erica Allar, Morgan Brown, Jessica Cutler, Katie Donovan, Jessica Prinner and Whitney Schultz. Mary Zider is the 2015 team manager.

The team was in Clermont, Florida, January 22-29, for a team bonding experience and media camp. The professional Colavita/Bianchi team will focus on the National Criterium Calendar, UCI one-day road races and select US National Racing Calendar’s events.
