What's Cool In Road Cycling

Bos likes his chances in Bayern Rundfahrt

Following on his success with a stage win in the Glava Tour of Norway, Theo Bos is looking for more. He is looking to pick up a bouquet or two in the Bayern Rundfahrt with is level stages starting on Wednesday, 22 May.

“I haven’t had the chance to study the route book but our Sport Director Jeroen Blijlevens feels that I have two very good chances”, according to Bos, who added “Therefore I will be going for the win in those two stages and I like my chances. We have a good team and the stage win in Norway has certainly topped up my confidence. In the next to last stage of the Tour of Norway, Bos took a spill but the damage was limited. I don’t expect it to be a problem for me in the Bayern Rundfahrt. It’s just and abrasion wound on my hip and I don’t have a problem with it whilst cycling.”

David Tanner
Aside from Bos’ ambitions, David Tanner is a useful classification rider. Sports Director Jeroen Blijlevens said, “David is just back from altitude training and will have the opportunity to take his chances. Hopefully, he can perform well.”

The Tour of Bavaria runs from wednesday 22nd of May until Sunday the 26th of May.

Team line-up
Theo Bos, Graeme Brown, Jetse Bol, David Tanner, Bram Tankink, Robert Wagner and Dennis Van Winden – Sport Director: Jeroen Blijlevens.
