BPeople Saddles with the “Iron Women” from Team Gobbi LGL Somec

Marina Ilmer Takes Home the Tour Transalp and Monica Bandini Captures the Straducale.

Thanks to our partnership with Team Gobbi LGL Somec, BPeople can celebrate two important results attained with the excellent performances by the athletes on this team. BPeople is seeing pink with two extraordinary, entirely feminine successes.

Marina Ilmer was busy at the Schwalbe Tour Transalp, the one week pairs’ trial in stages that started off from Sonthofen, Germany on June 23 and arrived at Arco (Tn) on June 29, after having crossed the Alps, passing through Austria and Switzerland. The athlete from South Tyrol garnered success in the overall standings hand in hand with her companion on this adventure, Edith Vanden Brande. This pair really dominated the race, particularly in each individual phase, winning four out of the seven stages.

In other news, on Sunday, June 30 Monica Bandini won the Straducale in Urbino (PU). The race is an extremely gruelling granfondo for true athletes that covers 175 kilometres and nearly 3800 metres of altitude difference, including significant climbs at Monte Catria and Monte Nerone, two of the most challenging mounts in the Apennines of the Marches.

These extraordinary athletes are being accompanied in their enterprises by the BPeople MX-Air saddle. It has a new, ergonomic shape that has been designed and developed to meet the needs of the women’s market. It is the perfect combination of comfort and performance.
