What's Cool In Road Cycling

Claudio Corti appointed member of UCI Road Commission

Team Colombia General Manager Claudio Corti was officially nominated member of the UCI Road Commission, as representative of Professional Continental teams. One of the most successful and respected personalities in the sport, 58-year-old Corti was designated by AIGCP (Professional Cycling Groups International Association) to be part of the prestigious UCI body.

“I am glad and proud to have been chosen by AIGCP to cover this very prestigious position – Corti said – as to me it means an acknowledgement of what I managed to do after closing my professional athlete career, both as a sports director and a manager, at the national and – above all – International level. In my career, I have had the opportunity to manage teams from very different countries, dealing with international authorities and federations, learning different languages and methods and earning invaluable experience. The confidence those very influential stakeholders have shown in me really means a lot. I will do my very best to serve in that capacity.”
