REACTIONS:
Sonny Colbrelli:”I knew the arrival and how to sprint, but Hofland showed to be the strongest today. I took his wheel in the last 200 meters, then with 50 to go I tried to pass him but he was too fast. It’s a pity because also last year I took the 2nd place and today I wanted win. Anyway I don’t regret, I gave all and also my teammates who today have been very strong”.
Mirko Rossato, Sport Director:”Afrer De Panne I wanted a reaction from the guys and I can say that it happened today. I think that Sonny conquered the best result, because watching the sprint Hofland was stronger. All the squad was great, they managed the race since the start, we sent Boem on attack with 45km to go and in the finale Canola tried to win with a solo-attack. Okay the victory didn’t arrive but I happy about squad’s attitude showed today”.
