What's Cool In Road Cycling

Corratec new main sponsor of the TOUR Transalp

Only a few days after the 2017 TOUR Transalp stage towns have been unveiled and hundreds of participants already signed in for the 15th event edition, corratec has joined the sponsor pool of the Alps classic.

The bicycle manufacturer based in Raublingen therefore becomes an official partner of the TOUR Transalp for the very first time deeply underlining its dedication to the sport with a three-year contract.

“We have our roots in racing, and we will keep on focusing on the racing scene marketing-wise,” says Guenther Schoberth-Schwingenstein, member of the Board of Management, Sales, Marketing, Communication and Sales.

Right now, corratec is already successful in the sport of cycling whilst also being a supporter of the UCI continental licensed Cyc Team Roth and several other individual athletes.

“We are looking forward to extend our commitment to the sport by becoming a main sponsor of the possibly most spectacular road bike stage race, the TOUR Transalp,” adds Schoberth-Schwingenstein.

Mathias Ley, CEO of the Hamburg based organising event company Ley Events GmbH, is also happy with the new partner: “It’s a very good sign that corratec committed itself to our event by becoming a long-term main sponsor. We therefore underline the standing which the TOUR Transalp enjoys worldwide.”
