Duarte and Team Colombia to face Mont Faron test

After a battling performance at the Etoile de Besseges, Team Colombia remain in France to take part in the Tour Mediterraneen (February 13th-16th), another classic early-season fixture.

The French stage race is likely to be decided – as usual – on the steep ramps of Mont Faron: ahead of that, the riders will face two and a half relatively flat stages, and a 18,2 km time trial on a route that should suit the specialists against the clock.

Guided by Sports Directors Oscar Pellicioli and Oliverio Rincon, the Team will reach the start in Argeles-sur-Mer focused on keeping on the solid work done in the first races and pursuing a consistent growth in the view of the key goals of the season.

The Mont Faron test is waiting for Fabio Duarte, entering his second stage race after the Tour de San Luis, as well as Jarlinson Pantano and Carlos Julian Quintero – just off his solid performance at the Etoile de Besseges. Racing close to his home, in the Provence region, Leonardo Duque will seize his opportunities in the sprint stages.

The line-up will also include Robinson Chalapud, Darwin Pantoja, Juan Pablo Valencia and early-season sensation Rodolfo Torres, who showed no fear in moving to the big stage, showing amazing determination and a good condition in his first Team Colombia outings.
