ENVE boosts women’s cycling through Cervélo Bigla sponsorship

Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling is proud to partner with ENVE composites for the 2016 season. The deal was announced last year and will see the team ride the Smart ENVE System line of road wheels, in addition to its proven line of bars, stems and seat posts.

The sponsorship will see the team work closely with the innovative company in developing product through feedback from the athletes. “ENVE designs product for racing and to produce the best products possible we rely heavily on our professional racers to help us develop product,” ENVE Director of Marketing, Jake Pantone said.

“The nature of ENVE product makes it an excellent choice for female cyclists. Many women hesitate to invest in high performance wheels, the reality is that female cyclists stand to greatly benefit from ENVE’s technologies which promise unprecedented stability on windy days, maximum aero benefits, durability, and weight savings. Supporting a professional women’s team of this caliber will not only provide us with valuable insight for future product development, but help us share ENVE’s value proposition with the female cycling community worldwide.”

Pantone says the company is proud to work with professional athletes and it designs product for racing which means it benefits all levels of cyclists. The US company also made the decision a few years back to keep manufacturing within the United States of America.

“There are numerous reasons as to why we are dedicated to US manufacturing. The primary reason is that by designing and manufacturing the product under one roof, we have a more intimate relationship with the product, we can pivot quickly if we need to and ultimately, it means better product for our loyal customers,” Pantone concluded.
