What's Cool In Road Cycling

Felice Gimondi’s mother passed away

Bianchi wish to express the deepest sympathy to its iconic champion Felice Gimondi as his mother, Domenica Angela Salvi, passed away yesterday at the Santa Maria rest home in Laxolo di Brembilla, Northern Italy. She was 103. The funeral will take place in Sedrina on Tuesday, December 10th, at 10.30 am.

Mrs. Angela had been the first postwoman ever in her hometown Sedrina, using a bike: when he was a child, Felice got his love of going biking from her, unaware he was just leading out a fantastic career.

The whole Bianchi family relay their heartfelt condolences to Felice, his brothers Giuseppe and Alessio and all their relatives.
