Giro d’Italia: Team Time Trial for Sportive Riders on the Final Stage Route

Sportive riders can challenge themselves in a unique Team Time Trial – with between four to eight riders in each team – on the very same course as the final stage of the Corsa Rosa, which will crown the winner of the 100th edition. On Sunday 28 May it starts from the Monza Autodrome and finishes in Milan’s Piazza Duomo. Info and entries at www.giroditalia.it/teamtimetrial

The 28th May 2017 will be unforgettable not only for the professional riders completing the 100th edition of Giro d’Italia, but also for the sportive riders. They will all challenge themselves on the course of the Corsa Rosa’s last stage, the very route which will crown the Giro’s overall winner, starting from the legendary Monza Autodrome and finishing in the shadow of the Madonnina, in Milan’s Piazza Duomo, after 29.3km. While the pro riders will face an Individual Time Trial, the sportive riders have the chance to tackle a very unusual Team Time Trial.

The teams can either be men, women or mixed. Each team must be made up from a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 riders. The team’s time will be measured at the arrival of the fourth team member.

The first team will start around 7.00, depending on the number of teams participating, with 1′ interval in between teams.

Each team cost is of €250.00 per team.
