GURU Introduces Range of Right®

Industry-leading Motion Capture Software Enhances Bike Fit Process

GURU, a brand of Dorel Sports, a division of Dorel Industries, Inc. (TSX: DII.B, DII.A), today introduced Range of Right®, a new, industry-leading motion capture software program designed to assist in the bike fitting process.

“GURU is always looking for new ways to deliver premium experiences for our dealers and consumers and I’m thrilled that Range of Right® will provide a more dynamic method to get more riders on the right-sized bike,” said Sam Dodge, Global Business Manager for GURU.

Range of Right® utilizes Microsoft Kinect 2.0 camera technology to provide real-time rider body angles, providing accurate measurements for the most optimal bike fit. A standalone product, the software can be used with an existing GURU Fit bike system or be adapted to any other fit bike on the market. Software licenses for Range of Right® will be provided at no additional cost to current active GURU dealers. Non-GURU dealers can obtain a software license and technology package for $3000, while the software-only package is $2750.

GURU will be hosting Range of Right® education courses through the end of 2016, as well as a full schedule of classes for 2017. GURU education classes will continue to be held at the GURU Academy, as well as regional training facilities hosted by GURU Fit Advisors Jonathan Blyer, Mat Steinmetz, Dave Ripley and Ian Murray.

Range of Right® will be debuted at Interbike beginning Wednesday, September 21st. To learn more, visit Interbike booth 21023 or visit www.gurucycling.com/range-of-right for more details.
