What's Cool In Road Cycling

Introducing @Wahoofitness’ #ELEMNT

The ELEMNT (pronounced Element) is a stand-alone GPS bike computer to rival the Garmin Edge 810. It is being announced today at Interbike.

Here are some of the key highlights:

Industry Leading Connectivity:
• Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+ connection to sensors, trainers, and smartphones
• Android and iOS App
• WiFi connectivity to upload data to your favorite cycling communities

Text and Phone Alerts:
Text message, email and phone call alerts sent directly to the ELEMNT from your connected smartphone

Live Track
Track others, or let others track you while you ride

LED Indicators:
The ELEMNT comes with LED lights on the side and top of the unit to provide visual cues for critical data such as speed, cadence, heart rate zones, power, and navigation cues

KICKR Control:
Fully integrate KICKR and KICKR SNAP control for power based workouts
Ride an Outdoor Route, Indoors on the KICKR/SNAP – record a route on the ELEMNT and then ride the elevation profile indoors on the KICKR

Wahoo Companion App:
Wahoo has designed a new iOS and Android App to support the ELEMNT. This app will be used to set up the ELEMNT before a ride, and review your data after the ride. Unlike the RFLKT, the ELEMNT does not need a smartphone present to function

3rd Party App Compatibility:
Sync your ELEMNT to Strava or Ride with GPS for ELEMNT to wirelessly and automatically download your routes for you to go for a ride whenever you want. After your ride share to a number of third party apps: Strava, TrainingPeaks, MapMyRide and RideWithGPS
