Katusha Team is preparing to start Vuelta a España

Russian WorldTour Katusha Team is preparing to take start in the last seasonal Grand Tour – Vuelta a España.

The Spanish race will start on 24th August in Galicia with 27 km team time trial in Sanxenxo. The final of the Vuelta traditionally will be done in Madrid, on 15th September.

The organization of Vuelta a España has prepared a really tough route of the race, including 13 mountain stages, one team time trial and on individual time trial for 39 km with a mountain profile.

The team will be leaded by Joaquim Rodriguez, third in last edition of Vuelta a España as well as third recently in Anniversary Tour de France.

The other part of the team’s roster is the following: Giampaolo Caruso, Vladimir Gusev, Vladimir Isaychev, Dmitriy Kozonchuk, Alberto Losada, Daniel Moreno, Luca Paolini and Angel Vicioso.

Sports directors of the team are Claudio Cozzi, Dmitriy Konyshev and Gennady Mikhaylov.
