Katusha Team is ready to ride in Spain and Norway


Russian WorldTour team Katusha is ready to take part in two stage races in Spain and Norway in next days.

From 7th to 11th August Katusha will ride 2.HC stage race Vuelta a Burgos in Spain. This is lucky race for Russian team, which took two overall victories in a row in last two years – in 2011 Joaquim Rodriguez was the best rider of the race, while Daniel Moreno took the GC win in 2012.

This year Katusha Team will be presented by: Sergei Chernetckii, Giampaolo Caruso, Xavier Florencio, Petr Ignatenko, Dmitriy Kozonchuk, Luca Paolini, Angel Vicioso and team’s trainee Mikhail Antonov.

Sports directors: Claudio Cozzi and Dmitriy Konychev.

In Norway from 8th to 11th August Katusha will take part in the new 2.1 race Arctic Race of Norway, which will be held in the north of the country, beyond the Polar circle.

The team’s roster is: Maxim Belkov, Marco Haller, Mikhail Ignatyev, Alexander Kristoff, Timofey Kritskiy and Rudiger Selig.
