L’Eroica: Bianchi Back to the Fore as Main Sponsor
The vintage race set to go on stage on Tuscany’s Strade Bianche on October 5th
Bianchi is ready also this year to paint with its iconic Celeste color “L’Eroica-Bianchi”, the non-competitive vintage ride on Tuscany’s ”Strade Bianche”, starting and finishing in Gaiole in Chianti (Central Italy) on Sunday, October 5th.
Bianchi looks at L’Eroica as the perfect match between cycling history and heritage, whose Bianchi is a real global icon, and the new generation of bike fans from all over the world.
In L’Eroica Expo village, located in the former Cantine Ricasoli, Bianchi and its staff will welcome you to the official booth where a special shop area has been set up, on October 2nd-5th.
In addition, thirty Bianchi dealers and customers from Italy, Germany and UK will line-up at the start in Gaiole to form an exclusive Bianchi Team, all of them riding vintage Bianchi bikes and wearing the exclusive Bianchi vintage clothing kit released by Bianchi to celebrate “L’Eroica”. Bianchi also realized a dedicated leisure wear line, featuring t-shirt, a polo shirt and a sweater, all displaying the Bianchi azure color characterizing Bianchi in the 40s-60s. Both Bianchi kits will also be available for sale in the L’Eroica Expo Village.
Furthermore, a selected group of journalists from England will enjoy a unique travel between past and future, riding on the strade bianche on Infinito CV on Saturday, October 4th and on a vintage Bianchi on Sunday, October 5th.
