Lotto Belisol: Bruised tendon for Bart De Clercq

Today (Tuesday) Bart De Clercq has been on consultation with doctor Toon Claes in the hospital of Herentals. A bruise of the tendon that connects the quadriceps with the knee was concluded. This explains why De Clercq couldn’t continue after yesterday’s crash in the tenth stage of the Vuelta.

The inactivity will be limited. Next weekend De Clercq can carefully try to resume his training.
