Lotto Belisol: Kenny Dehaes extends contract

Kenny Dehaes has agreed to extend his contract with Lotto Belisol for two more years. The Belgian sprinter has already four victories this year. Indeed he was the first to cross the finish line in the Trofeo Palma, Handzame Classic en Halle Ingooigem, and yesterday he won the GP Dubois. Over the past few years Kenny mainly raced as a domestique for the leaders, but this year he focuses on his own results, which has a succesful outcome.

Kenny Dehaes: “I’m really happy with the extension of my contract and with the confidence that the team shows in me. Racing for a team such as Lotto Belisol is very pleasant because it’s like being in a family or in a group of close friends, in which everyone supports each other unconditionally. Before, I particularly worked for the benefit of the leaders but since last year I started to focus on my own victories. Because the team keeps believing in me I’ve become better each year. As a result I already won four races, which makes 2013 my best year so far.”
