Lotto Belisol: On teambuilding with Wildtrails
At the moment the Lotto Belisol riders are on teambuilding. Yesterday it was the first of three days in the Ardennes. The event is organized again by Wildtrails, with which Lotto Belisol has a successful cooperation already for several years now. Owner Frank Descamps gives some comment.
Frank Descamps, Wildtrails: “We have put together an adventurous programme with many activities like cave walking, a bike and run with games and a team climb followed by a death ride above the Ourthe. Thanks to the teambuilding the riders get to know each other in a different way, both in difficult and easier circumstances. It’s also an opportunity to work with the entire staff in a situation other than cycling.”
“Wildtrails has already organized four teambuildings for Lotto Belisol. It’s very nice to work for a cycling team because physically we can go to the limit. Cyclists can cope with a lot of physical exertion. We work mainly for companies, but have also organized teambuildings for football teams from the Belgian first class like Racing Genk. The Red Panthers, the hockey ladies team, came to us in the run-up to the Olympics in 2012. Each time there is a programme tailor-made for the customer and the advantage of Wildtrails is that we have it all under one roof. We have guides and set up the activities, on top of that we have our own locations were the groups can stay the night.”
