Lotto Belisol: Overview of the victories of Lotto Belisol in 2013

Lotto Belisol has 28 official victories at the end of this season. Tuesday Jens Debusschere added the last one in the Nationale Sluitingsprijs Putte-Kapellen. For the 24-year-old guy from West-Flanders it was his fourth win in a short time. On the 20th of September he took his very first victory as a pro in the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen Koolskamp. In the beginning of October a stage win in the Eurométropole Tour and the overall victory followed.

The series of Lotto Belisol started in the Tour of Gabon, where the team won four out of seven stages. Both Fréderique Robert and Gert Dockx won two times. André Greipel warmed up for the Tour Down Under in a criterium in Adelaide and was the best there. In the stage race he could celebrate three times, it were his first official victories of the season.

It became a total of thirteen for the Gorilla, among it the German national title on the 23rd of June in Wangen. With the jersey he could attend the Tour de France. After the sprint train was put on the rails perfectly André Greipel could throw his hands up in the air at the finish in Montpellier. It was his fifth stage win ever in La Grande Boucle. In September he reeled in the Brussels Cycling Classic.

Kenny Dehaes was also the winner several times. In the Challenge Mallorca in February he was the fastest. A month later he left his opponents behind in the Handzame Classic. He put Halle-Ingooigem on his record as well and rode to the victory in the fourth stage of the Tour de Wallonie.

Jürgen Roelandts took the win in the fith stage of the Tour Méditerranéen. Jonas Van Genechten sprinted the fastest in the Grand Prix Pino Cerami. And finally there was the stage win of Adam Hansen in the Giro. He was part of the break in the seventh stage from Marina di San Salvo to Pescara. The last twenty kilometers he went solo, the pouring rain couldn’t stop him. At the finish he could enjoy.

Next to the official UCI victories a Lotto Belisol rider was also the best in seven criteriums or local races. Here you find an overview of all the wins.
