Paris-Nice: Yellow Dreams for Sidi Champions

Victory goes to Richie Porte and Michal Kwiatkowski takes second place.

The roads of Sidi Sport are already taking on a yellow hue. A fantastic, all-Sidi double arrived nicely wrapped up from the Paris-Nice, with victory by the Australian Richie Porte (Team Sky) and second place for the World Champion Michal Kwiatkowski (Etixx – Quick-Step).

In the brief French stage race the Pole got off to a great start, winning the initial prologue and once again showing off his excellent strengths when it comes to races against the time. Then little by little the Tasmanian Devil, Richie Porte, started to get out ahead, making the race all his own by winning on the final climb at the finish line in Croix de Chaubouret, as well as in the conclusive climbing time trial on Col d’Eze.

It was a nice duel dominated by Sidi. In fact, both of these champions were shod in Sidi Wire shoes, the top of the line in the 2015 road collection. It’s a success that has started to tint our dreams in yellow as we look forward to the big date with the Tour de France.
