PowerTap recently partnered with Peaks Coaching Group with the objective of helping cyclists, whether they are mountain bikers, roadies, or triathletes, to achieve their training goals and performance in racing. The partnership between PowerTap and Peaks Coaching Group provides athletes with access to the most important components of power training: tools and guidance.

According to Jesse Bartholomew, the Category manager of PowerTap, “The power meter has become the single most important tool in facilitating the coach’s relationships with their athletes, and PowerTap is honored to shoulder such an important responsibility for the leaders in endurance sport coaching.” PowerTap and Jesse has been very pro-active with getting involved at the grassroots levels including attending Hunter Allen’s training camp in two weeks at Blue Ridge.

This month sees two Webinars focused on the benefits of power training, which is ideal for athletes who are new comers to the world of power training. The webinars will be led by power guru Hunter Allen himself. Speaking about the recent collaboration with PowerTap, Hunter Allen says, “We have been able to give our clients the opportunity to ride some of the best wheels in the world with a light weight and robust power meter built iinto it. All power meters help you become a faster rider, but with PowerTap and Smart Enve wheels, you are faster instantly! It’s been great to have a true partner and each of our companies work to create additional synergies for each other and that’s been a very exciting cornerstone of the relationship between Peaks Coaching Group and PowerTap.”

There’s still space to sign up for the two free Webinars this month, the first happening this Thursday April 3rd which will cover getting started with power training while the next one will be held on April 29th and will be ideal for those athletes looking for advanced training with power.

Hunter will be speaking on the latest in Power Training Principles and teaching all attendees many of the same concepts he has taught all over the world and uses on a daily basis with his athletes.

They also know that PowerTap is the best way to train with power and see results. PowerTap’s selection stemmed from living up to their “Tested. Trusted. True.” motto.

“The power meter has become the single most important tool in facilitating the coach’s relationships with their athletes,” said Jesse Bartholomew, Category Manager of PowerTap. “PowerTap is honored to shoulder such an important responsibility for the leaders in endurance sport coaching.”

Athletes who take advantage of this partnership will be able to purchase PowerTap directly from Carmichael Training Systems and Peaks Coaching Group. Additionally, PowerTap support staff will be attending power-focused training camps by both Carmichael Training Systems and Peaks Coaching Group.
