Saxo-Tinkoff tothe Tour de Suisse

Saturday, 8th of June, Team Saxo-Tinkoff are rolling out on the Swiss roads to do another warm-up race for this year’s Tour de France. Tour de Suisse is launched with an 8-kilometer long prologue in Quinto and the very next day, the heavier riders can kiss the chance of conquering the overall lead goodbye as the second stage holds an uphill finish on Crans Montana – a more than 10-kilometer long first category climb.

From then on, the course offers undulating terrain in the alpine landscape and the race is concluded with a 26-kilometer long demanding time trial, where the last nine kilometers lift the riders from 500 to 1,300 meters above sea level.
