SIDI & Bahrain Merida: First Victory Has Come From Argentina!

With SIDI SHOT Ramunas Navardauskas won the time trial in the Vuelta a San Juan.

We didn’t have to wait long to see the Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team jersey shining on the highest step of the podium. In Argentina, at the Vuelta a San Juan (22-29/01), Lithuanian Ramunas Navardauskas scored a historic victory by triumphing in the 3rd stage, an 11.9 km long individual time trial. Thanks to this success Navardauskas also got the chance to don the jersey for the leader of the general classification.

SIDI is also tremendously pleased with what will represent the first victory in the history of the new Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team, where all the riders use new SHOT shoes featuring special graphics designed by Dino Signori for Vincezno Nibali and his team mates. For “the Shark” this brief Argentine stage race marks his season debut, and it is an especially valid test as we look forward to the continuation of the season.
