Sidi Beats Them All in the Sprint!
Alexander Kristoff wins again in Oman. Nacer Bouhanni scores in Spain.
The last several days of races on the international calendar have once again brought the Sidi Sport brand high speed thrills and excitement.
At the Tour of Oman Norwegian Alexander Kristoff, who was already a winner at the Tour of Qatar, confirmed that he is in brilliant top form by scoring another two splendid successes. Kristoff beat Moreno Hofland (LottoNL), to win the 3rd stage in the final sprint, and then went on to win the final fraction, prevailing over Zico Waeytens (Giant) in the short Arab stage race, thus bringing his total season winnings to 5.
These two fine victories further strengthen the triumphant partnership between Sidi Sport and Team Katusha, the formation where this year all the riders are using Wire shoes, the top models in the Sidi collection, made with special graphics which Sidi dedicated to the Russian team.
Elsewhere, on the roads of Spain, in Europe, it was up to Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) to make the winning sprint across the finish line in the second stage of the Vuelta Andalucia Ruta Ciclistica del Sol. Bouhanni took home his first season’s bull’s-eye, coming in ahead of Fabio Felline (Trek) and Ben Swift (Team Sky).
