Sidi Sport and Cannondale Pro Cycling Still Winning Together

Peter Sagan hits a bullseye in Canada and Elia Viviani scores in Great Britain

Team Cannondale Pro Cycling is continuing to enjoy an extraordinary season and as always Sidi Sport shoes are right there with them. Another two important successes last weekend contributed to enhancing a season that has already been full of fantastic thrills and satisfactions.

In Canada Peter Sagan put everyone else in line, crossing the finish line at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montreal all alone with arms raised, ahead of Simone Ponzi and Ryder Hesjedal. The grueling Canadian in-line race that has become a part of the World Tour calendar represented an important test case for anyone who wants to try to figure at the World Championships in Florence coming up in 15 days and Sagan, with this his 22nd season win, was definitely declaring, “I’m in!” .

Always on Sunday meanwhile, on the other side of the Atlantic Elia Viviani was the fastest of them all in the final sprint at the inaugural stage of the Tour of Britain, coming in ahead of Alessandro Petacchi and Gerald Ciolek, thus capturing the stage and the first yellow jersey. This is the sixth season victory for Viviani.

The champions on the Cannondale Pro Cycling Team are equipped with Sidi Wire shoes, the top of the line in carbon from the Sidi on road collection. Sidi is not only present with their shoes being worn on the feet of their champions, but also with our brand appearing on the team’s uniforms, one more source of pride for the company from Maser (Treviso) whose partnership with Team Cannondale Pro Cycling this year has obtained 35 successes up to now.
