Sidi Sport Plays a Poker Hand in Mallorca

A double for Sacha Modolo, followed by victories for Michal Kwiatkowski and Gianni Meersmann.

In what has been an exciting start to this season, the Sidi Sport colours have received some fantastic results from Spain. On the roads of the Challenge Mallorca, Sidi was dealt a poker hand full of aces. Four days of racing brought four competitive victories. It was up to Sacha Modolo to get things started with his victory right off in the inaugural race, the Trofeo Palma de Mallorca, on Sunday, February 9th. Modolo then went on to repeat the feat for the second test in the Challenge Mallorca, the Ses Selines Trophy, thus sealing an exclusive Lampre-Merida two-for-two. In the third trial, theTrofeo Serra Tramuntana, Polish Champion Michal Kwiatkowski (Omega Pharma Quick-Step) signed his name to the race, and his team mate Gianni Meersman finished the hand with the final race, the Trofeo Muro-Port d’Alcudia. These four great victories all share the common denominator of Sidi Wire shoes, the top models in the Sidi Sport on road collection which once again have proven to be the most victorious shoes in the pack.
