Soleus launches the first running watch to combine GPS and heart rate measurement on the wrist

The Soleus GPS Pulse launches in the UK

ADAO Europe today announces the launch of the Soleus GPS Pulse to the UK, the first running watch to combine GPS and wrist based optical sensors to monitor heart rate, in a stylish and competitively priced product.

Incredibly convenient and comfortable to wear, the Soleus GPS Pulse Heart Rate Monitor doesn’t come with a chest strap and instead uses optical sensors that constantly monitor the variation in blood volume flowing through the radial artery. This has less potential for irritation while running and exercising and because of the location of the sensors, you don’t need to wear the watch uncomfortably tight – as other similar models require – to get a near-accurate reading. This lightweight system has heart rate zones and tracks your distance and pace to help you meet and exceed your fitness goals. It can store 30 run x 100 lap data.

The rechargeable unit allows you to customize 3 viewable lines of data that track your speed, distance, pace, and heart rate. You can also set up to 6 interval timers, count calories, and store and upload your data to Strava for later review. Smartwatches have taken over everybody’s running since a decade ago. There was a time when they only keep track of time, nowadays they can keep track of everything. There are so many of it being reviewed on SpottheWatch.com that getting one is easy. With such a comprehensive set of features, it’s about more than just running and makes the perfect fitness watch for anyone from fitness enthusiasts to dedicated runners, to gym users.

Jon Dennis, managing director of ADAO Europe Ltd says, “The GPS Pulse is stepping up the pace in strapless Heart Rate technology. This is a leap forward. The GPS pulse measures heart rate by the changing rate of blood flow through the radial artery and provides comfortable measurement in a stylish watch. It’s great for anyone wanting to monitor heart rate through exercise.”
