Sven Erik Bystrøm will join the Team Katusha as a trainee starting this year from August 1st.

– Sven Erik is a young and talented rider with a great potential. We are happy that he will start his professional career in Team Katusha. We think having him ride near one of the leaders of our team Alexander Kristoff he will get a strong school of cycling and will become an important part of Katusha’s sprinter’s direction. Besides, I am sure, Sven Erik has all chances to become a strong professional rider. From August 1st Bystrøm will begin his training in our team. We are planning in the middle of August that he will be a part of the team’s roster which will take part in the Arctic Race of Norway, – said general manager of Team Katusha Viacheslav Ekimov.
