What's Cool In Road Cycling

Team Belkin starts with live streaming around Tour stages

The Belkin Pro Cycling TEAM will start exclusive live streaming images tomorrow. The team has found a way to give something back to the fans for their support. Before and after the stages of the Tour de France the ins and outs around the team bus will be featured on teambelkin.com/live.

General Manager Richard Plugge is proud of the fact that the Belkin Pro Cycling TEAM can give something back to the fans. “We want to strengthen the bond with our fans and therefore, we’ll start with Team Belkin Live, today. Earlier on, we started a fan club (teambelkinfans.com) and a crowdfunding project via ridethefuture.nl. With Team Belkin Live we make a major step in communicating with our fans. The great thing is that it is by the fans as well as for the fans. Thanks to their support, we are the first cycling team that can provide live streaming updates at the start and finish of every Tour de France stage.”

A lot of things happen around a stage, but on television there’s only time and space for a limited number of stories. Team Belkin Live will be present at the team bus and will show the viewers things they usually don’t see. They will interview riders and maybe take a look in the team bus.
