Team Colombia to take part to Vuelta a Colombia
The Colombian Cycling Federation officialised the list of the teams that will take part to the 2014 Vuelta a Colombia, to be raced from August 6th to 17th. Topping this list is Team Colombia, that will make its comeback to the biggest National stage race two years after the debut in 2012.
“The Colombian Federation really wanted us to be at the Vuelta a Colombia, particularly after the feedbacks we had at the Giro d’Italia – General Manager Claudio Corti said – and we will appreciate the chance to meet all the fans that root for us from across the Ocean throughout the year.”
“Vuelta a Colombia was not initially in our plans, so we will have to make some hard choices to serve other previous commitments as well. Nevertheless, it is our intention to start in Bucaramanga with some of the athletes that took part to the Giro d’Italia,” Corti stated.”
